Background
- A Wisconsin native, Dave was born in Milwaukee and graduated from Brookfield Central High School. From there Uncle Sam called and the U.S. Air Force introduced Dave to countries like Thailand and Vietnam. While there, Dave developed a passion for flying and resolved to pursue it after his military commitment was over.
- Upon return to the United States, Dave settled again in Milwaukee and began studies in pre-med at Marquette University, supporting his educational pursuits as a flight instructor. Eventually he decided to fly full-time and became a corporate pilot. In 1984, the corporation moved to Ft. Worth, Texas, and that was just too far from his Wisconsin roots for Dave to follow.
- Dave’s father was a developer and real estate investor, so Dave decided to pursue real estate, and the rest, they say, is history. Dave re-located to the Lake Pepin area and is licensed out of the Edina Realty Hudson Office.
- Dave has been with Edina Realty for 20 years and has specialized in subdividing bluff parcels overlooking fabulous Lake Pepin. Dave has also developed subdivisions in the River Falls and Prescott area. Dave explains that when he personally owns and creates a subdivision he is able to include amenities such as the paved walking trails, sheltered school bus stops, a park with a pavilion and the many other fine features that Rolling Hills Farm exhibits. Rolling Hills Farm is a community with its own identity, one that fosters a direct relationship with nature. The Foundation offers financial support to
organizations which
provide housing and
related services to
homeless individuals
and families in the
markets we serve.
Who receives Foundation
funds?
All
of the Edina Realty
Foundation funds are
donated to nonprofit
organizations and their
projects which support
homeless individuals.
Examples of funded
projects include:
transitional and low
income housing,
clothing, food, child
care, employment
counseling, medical
care, etc.
Foundation Funding
When an Edina Realty
sales associate sells a
home, a portion of the
commission goes to the
Edina Realty Foundation.
Additional contributions
are made by the
employees of Edina
Realty, Edina Realty
Title, Edina Realty
Mortgage, Edina Realty
Home Services, as well
as by the public at
large.
The amount of contributions made to the Foundation is
tracked by office. Each
office then receives the
amount of money
contributed to the
Foundation based on the
number of transactions
